Abstract
⺠Embryotoxic effects of simvastatin were analyzed during ES cell-differentiation. ⺠Simvastatin enhances chondrogenesis but impaired cartilage nodules. ⺠The effect could be brought about by affecting apoptosis. ⺠ES cell-derived EBs are a useful in vitro model to screen for embryotoxic effects.
