Abstract
⺠Classification of NSAIDs in three classes based on underlying toxicity. ⺠Ketoprofen and indomethacin show same mitochondrial toxicity as diclofenac. ⺠Main toxicity ibuprofen and naproxen is not related to mitochondrial respiration. ⺠Use of yeast as a simple, cellular model system to test toxicity.
