Abstract
⺠Bone resorption in our patient at perimenopausal age released bone-bound arsenic. ⺠Arsenic was detected in urine at toxic levels. ⺠The patient developed clinical conditions associated with chronic arsenic intoxication. ⺠Treatment with vitamin D, calcium and zolendronate dose-dependently reduced the urinary arsenic concentration and improved the patient's clinical condition.
