Abstract
► IFITM1 highly increased during osteoblast differentiation from hAD-BMSCs. ► IFITM1 have functions as a positive regulator of differentiation in hAD-BMSCs. ► Knockdown of IFITM1 by shRNA inhibited cell differentiation as well as cell growth. ► IFITM1 regulates Runx2 expression and could determine the fate of osteoblast differentiation in hAD-BMSCs.
