Abstract
⺠The diagnosis of tumour induced osteomalacia (TIO) is often delayed due to under-appreciation of its existence and clinical features. ⺠Patients with hypophosphataemia and renal phosphate wasting should be evaluated for TIO especially if serum phosphate has been previously normal. ⺠Careful physical examination and knowledge of the appropriate imaging modalities will help identify the tumour in the majority of cases.
