Abstract
► Bone marrow adiposity is reduced by Strontium treatment while bone mass increases in 3 month old 129/CD mice. ► In adipogenic conditions, 3 mM Strontium inhibits multipotent mesenchymal cell (10 T1/2) PPARy2 expression and adipogenesis. ► Adipogenesis inhibition may be linked to Strontium ability to promote fibronectin fibrillogenesis, CyclinD1 expression and cell proliferation.
