Abstract
► Concerns have been expressed recently regarding prolonged use of bisphosphonates. ► As a result, subsequent teriparatide therapy is a therapeutic option. ► Focus was placed on effects of teriparatide on bone quality indices after bisphosphonate use, in actively forming bone surfaces. ► Prior bisphosphonate use does not blunt teriparatide's effect on bone quality.
