Abstract
⺠We study the relevance of age as prognostic factor in survival of osteosarcoma-patients. ⺠Younger patients showed an increased survival due to more intensified treatment regimens. ⺠Older patients suffered more treatment-related toxicity and showed decreased survival rates. ⺠This study shows the prognostic significance of age among patients with osteosarcoma.
