Abstract
⺠Computed-tomography-based images can provide bone-strength parameters that correlate well with finite-element-based bone-strength estimates. ⺠Modulus-weighted bone-strength indicators correlate better with finite-element-based bone-strength estimates than area- or density-weighted indicators. ⺠The weakest locations on various long bones are consistent within 0.5% of bone length.
