Abstract
⺠Autofluorescence intensity of decalcified bone is associated with AGEs concentration. ⺠Variation of AGEs accumulation depends on both biological and chronological aging. ⺠Highest AGEs concentration is present around cement lines. ⺠In situ concentration of AGEs promotes osteoclastic bone resorption activities.
