Abstract
⺠Bone cell interactions lead to the emergence of stand-alone BMUs. ⺠Motile properties of bone cells are crucial for cellular organisation in BMUs. ⺠New insights on the spatio-temporal action of regulatory factors between bone cells. ⺠Histomorphometric cell counts along a BMU could provide kinetic cell properties.
