Abstract
ⶠPost-ischemic administration of nimodipine, L-type calcium channel blocker, will be a striking therapeutic maneuvering in cerebral stroke treatment. ⶠNimodipine exhibited neuroprotective effect predominantly through neurochemical alterations followed by energy restoration in the post-ischemic state. ⶠOur basic research will be a help tool for the clinicians to understand the role of calcium in the pathophysiology of ischemia.
