Abstract
⺠IL-10 is an early predictor of complicated course of febrile neutropenia. ⺠Procalcitonin stays elevated for several days in complicated febrile neutropenia. ⺠Levels of IL-6 and IL-10 normalize more rapidly than that of procalcitonin. ⺠IL-10 combined with procalcitonin improves early prediction of complications.
