Abstract
⺠We examine changes in cytokines in the menopausal stages classified in detail. ⺠IL-8 in postmenopause is higher than those in pre- and peri-menopause. ⺠MCP-1 in late menopausal stage is higher than that in early menopausal stage. ⺠MCP-1 shows a positive correlation with FSH during the menopausal transition. ⺠Patterns of changes in IL-8 and MCP-1 during the menopausal stage are different.
