Abstract
⺠No significant differences of IFN-gamma and IL-13 between controls and asthmatics. ⺠IFN-gamma and IL-13 exhibited neutral role in the inflammatory process of asthma. ⺠Observed wide variation in cytokine levels in subjects of different ethnicities. ⺠Nonsignificant difference of serum cytokines with the duration of asthma. ⺠Nonsignificant difference of serum cytokines with sensitization.
