Abstract
⺠The study was conducted on well characterized RM patients and healthy controls. ⺠CTLA-4 +49A/G, CTLA4 (AT)n 3â²UTR, TNF-α(-308G/A, -238G/A) polymorphisms were studied. ⺠GG and AA genotype of CTLA4 +49A/G and TNF-α-308 were RM causative. ⺠104, 106, 110 and 116 bp alleles of CTLA-4 (AT)n 3â²UTR repeat showed risk association. ⺠GA and AG haplotypes of TNF-α were low risk associated haplotypes.
