Abstract
⺠Vitamin D3 suppressed CFA antigen induced MCP-1 expression in healthy controls. ⺠Vitamin D3 showed no effect on MIP-1α, MIP-1β and RANTES in healthy controls and PTB. ⺠Vitamin D3 suppressed the IP-10 mRNA and protein expression in both the study groups. ⺠Suppressive effect of vitamin D3 was observed with MIG expression in healthy controls. ⺠The suppressive effect of vitamin D3 is prominent in CXC chemokines than CC chemokines.
