Abstract
⺠Autophagy is differentially regulated by numerous cytokines. ⺠Th1 cytokines induce autophagy; Th2 cytokines inhibit autophagy. ⺠Autophagy is an effector of cytokines in the response of macrophages to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. ⺠Autophagy regulates the secretion of numerous cytokines. ⺠Autophagy may play an important role in the regulation of inflammation.
