Abstract
⺠Seven splice isoforms of cytokine mda-7/IL-24 were characterized. ⺠The shortest isoform, lacking three exons induced more apoptosis in U2OS cancer cells than did the full-length isoform. ⺠However, this short isoform displayed no effect on the viability of non-transformed NOK cells.
