Abstract
⺠In this study we compared preterm of preeclamptic and non-preeclamptic mothers. ⺠We examined IL-8 and GRO-α plasma levels of both groups. ⺠We find that IL-8 levels are lower in infants of preeclamptic mothers, and GRO-α plasma levels are similar. ⺠We suggest that preterm infants of preeclamptic mothers have an impaired leukocyte activation.
