Abstract
We conducted a meta-analysis to investigate the association between the â2518A/G polymorphism in the MCP-1 gene and the risk of diabetes. Ten case-control studies were included in this meta-analysis. Results indicated this polymorphism may be a risk factor for diabetes in Caucasians. Future studies are needed to validate our conclusions.
