Abstract
⺠Chromatin modification represents the essence of epigenetics. ⺠Chromatin-modifying enzymes are present in insects. ⺠How their activity is regulated is poorly understood. ⺠Hypothesis: Juvenile hormone and ecdysteroids have a role in epigenetics. ⺠Epigenetics complements classical arthropod endocrinology.
