⺠Stress mediators act as regulators of inflammation. ⺠Adrenaline induces apoptosis of macrophages in the focus of inflammation. ⺠Adrenaline reduces gene expression of chemokines and their receptors. ⺠Adrenaline thus contributes to a balanced immune response during stress.
