Abstract
⺠First identification of bursicon as a circulating neurohormone in crustaceans. ⺠Determination of neurohormone cascades involved in crustacean ecdysis. ⺠Simultaneous measurement of CHH, CCAP, bursicon at a fine temporal scale. ⺠Dynamics of bursicon (and CCAP) synthesis and release highlighted. ⺠Demonstration of differential release of bursicon and CCAP from co-expressing neurones.
