Abstract
► 17,20βP plasma levels were higher at 5 °C than at 10 °C in female Arctic charr. ► Unusually elevated temperatures inhibit ovulation. ► LH induced oocyte maturation less efficiently at 10 °C than at 5 °C. ► Elevated temperatures also reduced the responsiveness of oocytes to 17,20βP.
