Abstract
RMAs were closely associated with early carotid atherosclerotic lesions in hospitalized Chinese patients with type 2 diabetes. Our results suggested that changes in retinal microvasculature may play a role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and may be used as an indicator of early atherosclerosis in patients with type 2 diabetes.
