Abstract
⺠Genome-wide survey revealed 87 family-B GPCRs from six model insects. ⺠Insect GPCR-Bs exhibited three kinds of evolutionary patterns. ⺠pthrl was discovered in invertebrates firstly. ⺠Osmoregulated HE6 receptor arose species-specific duplication in T. castaneum. ⺠mthl largely expanded in D. melanogaster likely due to adaptive evolution.
