Abstract
⺠We obtained the complete mtDNA of Scylla paramamosain by 454 and Sanger sequencing. ⺠The genome was 15,824 bp long, containing the typical 37 genes and a control region. ⺠All 22 tRNAs could fold into a typical clover-leaf secondary structure. ⺠The phylogenetic position of 19 species was identical to the traditional taxonomy.
