Abstract
⺠17 Y-STR loci in the populations of Haiti, Jamaica and the Bahamas were reported. ⺠691 male individuals were genotyped. ⺠Various degrees of sex-biased gene flow were detected. ⺠Asymmetric gene flow is attributed to demographic events and family structures.
