Abstract
⺠We described a global detection and functional inference of hypothetical proteins. ⺠We detected 807 hypothetical proteins using iTRAQ-LC-MS/MS proteomics. ⺠We identified hypothetical proteins relevant to stress using networks analysis. ⺠We found 22 hypothetical proteins commonly responsive to all stresses. ⺠The study provided new insights into the stress response networks in Synechocystis.
