Abstract
⺠Plasma adiponectin levels are associated with metabolic diseases including NAFLD. ⺠Genetic variants of adiponectin may influence its expression and secretion in plasma. ⺠- 11377C/G and + 45T/G variants of adiponectin might influence NAFLD pathogenesis. ⺠These genetic variants might be useful as prognostic genetic markers.
