Abstract
⺠The Her2/neu gene amplification has been assessed in 83 breast cancer patients. ⺠We have used real time PCR, differential PCR and immunohistochemistry. ⺠We have made a very precise comparison between these three different procedures. ⺠Very high concordances were seen between IHC and differential PCR or real time PCR. ⺠55.5% concordance was seen between these three methods.
