Abstract
⺠We investigated the interferon-γ and interleukin-4 genetic polymorphisms. ⺠Association of the genetic polymorphisms with childhood susceptibility to asthma. ⺠The levels of IFN-γ, IL-4, and immunoglobulin (Ig) E among asthmatic children. ⺠The polymorphisms of the IFN-γ gene are not correlated with susceptibility to asthma.
