Abstract
⺠Whole genome profiling of rat hepatoma and hepatoma variant cells was conducted. ⺠Over 200 genes are repressed greater than 5-fold in the hepatoma variant cells. ⺠Repressed genes include many transcription factors. ⺠Reintroduction of HNF1a into variant cells results in activation of 56 genes. ⺠Dramatic yet partially reversible reprogramming occurs in the variant cells.
