Abstract
⺠The influence of the polar headgroup in the BAM pictures is reviewed. ⺠An emerging framework for the interpretation of BAM pictures is presented. ⺠The anisotropy as textures within the domains is quantitatively analyzed. ⺠A multiple wavelength BAM instrument is proposed.
