Abstract
Hematite particles in SDS-containing dispersions form aggregates, and the size of the aggregates is pH-independent. The apparent size of aggregates is insensitive to aging, but in fresh (about 2 h) acidic dispersions the electrophoretic mobility is substantially higher than in aged dispersions.
