Abstract
⺠To provide a way to measure the cidal/static profile of an antimalarial in vitro. ⺠This method has been validated with known antimalarials. ⺠It was also used to follow the production of gametocytes induced by certain drugs. ⺠It has been used to calculate the minimal parasite-cidal concentration. ⺠It will help to priories if included in the critical path of drug development.
