Abstract
â¶ The ApiAP2 protein family are candidate transcription regulators in Plasmodium spp. â¶ ApiAP2 proteins play a role in gene regulation at various stages of Plasmodium development. â¶ Most of the P. falciparum ApiAP2 have been shown to bind sequence specific DNA elements.
