Abstract
⺠Of the 20 amino acid positions of HLA-B resulted associated with LTNP or FP, 8 interacts with NK receptors. ⺠Bw4 epitope resulted significantly associated with delayed disease progression. ⺠Amino acid polymorphism Val 194 located on α3-domain of HLA-B associates with LTNP ⺠The amino acid change Val to Ile at position 194 modifies the interaction amino acid residues interaction between HLA-B molecule and LIR1 receptor.
