Abstract
⺠PCEP is a strong modulator of “adjuvant core response genes” at the site of injection. ⺠PCEP activates early innate immune responses at the site of injection, which may involve activation of the inflammasome. ⺠PCEP induces local immuno-stimulatory environment at the site of injection, characterized by production of cytokines and chemokines.
