Abstract
⺠We examined the mechanistic details of ESAT-6 triggered COX-2 expression. ⺠ESAT-6 triggers COX-2 expression in TLR2 dependent manner. ⺠ESAT-6 induced COX-2 expression involves cross-talk of PI3K and MAPK signaling axis. ⺠COX-2 expression is dependent on coordinated activation of NF-κB and AP-1.
