Abstract
⺠We examined the changes of the expression level of surface molecules on dendritic cells (DCs) upon co-culture with various cancer cell lines. ⺠DCs co-cultured with Jurkat, but not MCF 7, showed down-regulation of LMP7, TAP2 and β2-microglobulin and MHC I molecules by a direct cell-cell interaction. ⺠DCs that had been herpes simplex virus-treated and co-cultured with Jurkat cells showed a reduced potency to activate CD8+ T cells.
