Abstract
⺠Here we investigated the expression of nuclear receptors (NRs) in mast cells. ⺠We show that Gram-negative bacteria cause upregulated NR4a expression in mast cells. ⺠NR4a expression is also induced by LPS and by IgE receptor cross-linking. ⺠NR4a expression is strongly dependent on Gö6976-sensitive kinases. ⺠NR4a expression is dependent on the nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NFAT) pathway.
