Abstract
⺠Five transcription factors are first identified from the snail Biomphalaria glabrata. ⺠They are designated BgRelish, BgRel, BgSTAT1, BgSTAT2 and BgCREB. ⺠Relish is first reported in Lophotrochozoa, one of three superphyla in Metazoa. ⺠A possible anti-schistosomal role of the transcription factor associated pathways is suggested.
