Abstract
⺠We explored metformin-induced anorexia in diet-induced obese mice. ⺠Oral metformin transiently reduced meal sizes and persistently meal numbers. ⺠Oral metformin produced conditioned taste aversion at various doses in obese mice. ⺠Oral metformin activated neurons within the nucleus tractus solitarius.
