Abstract
⺠An objective multivariate approach classified cod into two distinct behavioural phenotypes. ⺠In hatchery-reared fish, this distinction was driven mainly by responses to social stress. ⺠In wild fish, this distinction was determined primarily by responses to predator signals. ⺠Behavioural phenotypes were complex and multidimensional.
