Abstract
⺠The DA antagonist, haloperidol, was assessed for its aversive effects. ⺠Active (but non aversive) doses were then given before CTA training with cocaine. ⺠Under these conditions, haloperidol attenuated cocaine-induced CTAs. ⺠These results suggest that DA is involved in cocaine's aversive effects. ⺠These findings were discussed in relation to work investigating other systems.
