Abstract
⺠We examined long-term effects of maternal feed restriction during pregnancy in goats. ⺠We observed a reduced growth but an increased feed intake in female offspring. ⺠Emotional reactivity was not modified in goats born to feed restricted dams. ⺠The HPA axis reactivity was greater in goats born to restricted dams than in controls.
