Abstract
												⺠Lingual trigeminal pain is suppressed by sweet taste in adult human subjects. ⺠Sweet taste suppresses lingual trigeminal pain ipsi-to-contralaterally. ⺠Unilateral lesion of the chorda tympani enhances trigeminal pain contralaterally.
