Abstract
⺠Light/Dark preference in zebrafish depends on the stimuli used. ⺠When actively swimming, zebrafish prefer an open/transparent chamber to black or white, but show little preference for black over white. ⺠Zebrafish choose to freeze in black rather than white. ⺠Low doses of ethanol increase locomotor activity, but reduce the amount of activity in white.
